We wanted to create the best pizza for Cyclone Fans. So, we started with the “gold standard” which is the fresh pizza from the pizzeria you love.  You know where it has lots of sauce, bright red , you can smell the spices, fresh mozzarella, which pulls and stretches as you eat it, authentic sausage and fresh vegetables! Well we decided to find someone to make that quality and then freeze it!

We began working with Randy’s Foods, a family business which began in Boone, Iowa in 1952, to create the perfect line. We tasted different crusts, cheeses and of course fresh pack tomatoes mixed with different seasonings for the right flavor.

So let us explain what we created for the We Will pizza line:

We chose a thin tavern style crust. It is light, crunchy and thinner crusts are preferred by over 75% of consumers. 

We layered the pizzas with a lightly seasoned red sauce made from fresh pack tomatoes. This sauce delivers better flavor, color aroma and mouth feel. Over 60% of the pizza flavor comes from the sauce, great sauce = great flavor!

We chose the highest quality Wisconsin (oh boy!) mozzarellacheese, which they shred fresh on the line. All made with milk that is certified steroid and added growth hormone free.

The meats are the highest quality and have that old world flavor and the veggies are flash frozen to preserve flavor.

AND, we also added gluten free pizzas which simply are the best tasting you will find!

The Beginning- Randy’s Meats | A food service family business dating back to 1952. Fine meats for a good price.

Tim’s Story | ISU Football alum, graduated in 1989 from Iowa State with an ag degree. Tim is a military veteran who served on 3 deployments, he’s also a farmer, football mentor & more.

Creasman Foods | Started as a hobby in 1998 as a food service company focused on restaurants, institutions and schools. In 2012, Creasman Foods, a partner with Randy’s Foods, migrated to retail outlets as a Pizza only company.

We Will Pizza | In Summer 2023, a former Cyclone and veteran in Chicago enjoyed pizza made by Creasman Foods and reached out, encouraging Tim to start a We Will Pizza brand to benefit Iowa State Athletes.

After determining a topping profile with We Wll staff and supporters, pizzas were sampled at many tailgates. We Will Pizzas officially launched in stores in December 2023. Pizzas are made and produced by Creasman Foods and Randy’s Foods.

Official Pizza of the Iowa State Cyclones | Beginning in late August 2024, We Will Pizzas will be available for purchase in a 7” size inside Jack Trice Stadium in partnership with Iowa State Athletics.
